Last weekend we went to buy a tent at GoOutdoorsgrin After much research we settled on the Hi-Gear Zenobia. When we arrived they had a new tent up for sale on special offer at £199.99. Now the Zenobia was £179.99. We compared sizes and specs and in the end we decided it was a no brainer grin

Ladies and camping persons we have........

Our pride and joy

Hugenormous with a soft G, natch wink

Looks good MrsGokWan

Do pitch it before we go- we ahd one that was similar and it was fab but you did need to pitch once or twice to get the hang

No we haven't pitched it yet and am not sure when we will get a chance. It won't go up in our garden so we have to arrange with my little bruv to go over and pitch it in thiers grin, though he doesn't know it yet grin Won't be this weekend as it is DC3's 2nd birthday so we will probably have to wait for next weekend

Daft thing is when we first started looking we discounted the big one's because of problems finding pitches big enough and having to pay extra. But once we had been in this and for only £20 more than the Zenobia, we just had to have it.We would have been daft not to.

I noticed on Sunday that the Sahara was sold out and it is back now but at a higher price, so we got it just at the right time.

And I agree it is Hugenormous grin

Nice one!

Is Hi-Gear the new name for Gelert?

MrsGokWan Tue 23-Jun-09 23:07:11

Hi-Gear is the 'own brand' of Go Outdoors and made for them by Gelert as far as I can tell.
