Hi, am new to camping and need a tent for 2 adults and 1 child, preferably with a big non-sleeping area that you can stand up in....does any of that make sense?!

Oh and would prefer one sleeping area rather than two separate.

Would be grateful any recommendations.

Thanks smile

You just need a bigger tent
A 5 man tent probably
How much have you got to spend?

I've just bought but haven't put it up yet

a Vango Icarus 500 the bedroom can be either all one or split into 2. It comes with loads of fab reviews (see and a nice price at £150.

It apparently is easy to erect

DH works in a camping shop and he says that if you want a low level (height) then a Vango Beta 350 and you you want some height then an Arizona L

The Vango apparantly takes about 5ish mins to put up, the Arizona about 10 to 15 mins

Hiya, thanks for this. I'm looking for something up to about £200, I've never been camping and wouldn't like to spend any more before I've at least been the once!

I'll have a look at all the ones mentioned, thanks again.
