Yayy look where I'm going for my birthday!

I've always wanted to go to Cape Clear island, its a Gaelic speaking island off the south west coast of ireland. There are 100 inhabitants, three pubs, a goat farm, lots of ruins including a 5000 year old passage tomb, lots of dolphins and whales and a camp site where we are going to stay for two nights in a yurt! I can't think of a better place to spend my 40th, and my kid's 8th birthday the next day. D Some friends are coming too, but they are slumming it in a tent ( or maybe a tipi).I'm so excited!

Hi, looks good. A friend of mine just stayed in these yurts in North Dorset and recommended them. http://www.stockgaylard.com/yurt_holidays.html

No dophins or whales, but plenty of wildlife as they're on a traditional country estate. thought you might be interested for next time :-)
