Hi Folks,

We are hoping to go camping somewhere for May half term (subject to a trial overnighter this weekend), and wondered if anyone knows of any campsites where they have kennels where you could leave your dogs if you are going somewhere they don't allow dogs ? (Does that make sense?)

Also, does anyone have any pearls of wisdom that I should know before taking the dogs with us ( we've two crazy springers in addition to our two crazy girls !)

Thanks for any help !!

Bit confused. A campsite that won't allow dogs..but has kennels?!

We take our dogs with us to a dog-friendly site (rule is they stay on lead at all times). If we couldn't take dogs we'd book them into a normal kennel near home.

No
I've read it properly now.
Sorry.

No I don't know of any sorry.

Tips:
Take dog poo bags.
Remember water bowls
Chain and spike to keep dogs outside with you while you are sitting out, but they are not allowed to roam.

(spike goe sin ground, chain attaches to spaike at one end and collar at other...incase the idea of chains and spikes sounded a bit cruel!!)

Hi

I know it's a bit late for your May holiday, but I have found a site (while researching for myself) which does day care kenneling. It's called Ashcroft Farm in North Devon and may be a thought for your next holiday.

Good luck

P.S. would also like details of any you have found if you wouldn't mind. Thanks
