what about early in the morning? I presume my children are not the only ones who wake Ellie

they cant whisper for 2 hours!

Obviously I will take stuff for them to do, but usually at that time in the morning its DS lite for one DD and a dvd for the other

No way could they be quiet

Help!!!!!

People who don't want to hear kids should wear ear plugs. Do not concern yourself with this.

I find the early morning child wake up call is a trade off for those that stay up all night chatting and giggling.

If you want silence, you should go to a campsite that doesn't allow children. I know Fforest Fields has a quiet area which is a good idea.

I find that if you tire them out in the day and let them go to bed a bit later they sleep later. DS is a normal 7-7'er and stays up until about 8:30, combined with all the running around, sleeps until about 8am.

I agree it is a trade off, my dp is a late night chatterer which means he cannot and does not complain when we get up early and make noise.

I usally take comics for ds to read in a morning when we go camping - the novelty of them keeps him entertained a good half hour as he doesn't get them at home. We then have some cereal and I take ds and a cuppa for a walk.

Oh I wouldnt let them out of the tent untill I could hear a few other kids!!

they would be staying in till then

thats what I thought....we will be kept awake by people talking later, when we will be trying to sleep! we are then awake at 6....so tough!

Not really tough though!!!! I would end up feeling really bad and then stressed!

thanks

lol painterjane, I wish that would work! Unfortuantly one hasnt slept through since she was very ill at 8 months of age. I could put her to bed at midnight and she would still wake early!! !!!!!
