I always find Metcheck is more accurate than the BBC (or anything else!)

Oh go camping, it'll be good until you have to pack up tent and by then you'll have had lots of days of either

putting on waterproofs and, grinning and bearing up and dunkirk spirit and bonding (with much wine) ha ha.

Or

snatches of sun where you dashed to beach and/field and ran about and dcs found treasure hmm.

Take bribe a mate.

Go on it'll be a laff, trust me I'm a stranger expert.

We are supposed to be off this weekend to the Forest of Dean, even though weather looks very wet indeed!

Sally if you have loads of holiday why not skip the weekend and go on Monday? It seems the weather is set to improve next week(rumour has it anyway) grin

Camping in the rain can be fun I'm sure of it <reaches for crate of wine to take along>

Oh you'll spot us we have a fancy Montana 6 with front extension and kids room grin, probably with 2 very muddy boys hanging around it!

We are planning on pitching near to the entrance and not far from the toilet/showers on the right hand side under the trees

Washersaurus Wed 13-Aug-08 14:59:54

Shall I pack a spare wine glass then? grin

Tent is Outwell green of course.

I had better find some waterproofs for my 2 to wear. I fear this camping trip is going to be more of a survival course type of weekend grin

Washersaurus Wed 13-Aug-08 15:09:03

I'm sure we will be well soaked and bedraggled by sunday! I hope you do get some sunshine.

Whizzz Wed 13-Aug-08 15:13:23
