We are planning our first camping trip and I want it to be a success. We have the possibility of a pitch at Deepdale or one at Thetford Forest. And I cannot decide whether Deepdale sounds right - the pitches sound a bit small according to the reviews on uk camsite.

Any advice very much welcome - I have listened so far and have my fat airics and my duvet at the ready!

fabbo clean facilities and they have a terrif cafe on the site. and a fatface shop down the road!

In tres nice village with in staggering waklking distance of pubs that do good food and it is on the norfolf costal path.

not been to Deepdale but have been to Thetford forest. Thetford was great even if they did have problems with the hot water when we were there. They have a big field for ball games which sold it to DS1

Tbh the pitches are a bit in the small side (we got back from there 2 days ago) but in every other repect it is a fantastic site, in a beautiful area.

We've been 3 years running now.

Definately give it a whirl.

Great - I have booked 3 nights late August and they have given us a double pitch because we have a big tent .

They sound so nice and I am soooo excited.

Now I am gtoing away to tick things off my UKcampsite list! Or maybe do some work before somebody susses me out.
