How cold do they get at night?

Do you hire linen or take your own stuff?

What are the key extra things to take along with you?

All tips gratefully recieved!!

Hi, i think everyone has gone off on their hols lol!

right, i can only tell you about canvas holidays, but if you hire a tent, they provide the pillows and blankets. You take sheets and pillowcases, or you can hire a linen pack which is sheets, pillowcases and towels.

It can get a bit chilly depending on the area you had in mind. We always use canvas hols and head for the mediterannean, its lovely and warm day and night.

If you are driving then maybe just take sleeping bags. if flying like we are we hire the linen packs.

I think you're right - everyone is already there! Thanks for this - we have left it too late to hire really. We'll take quilts I think.

lovely area. if you are driving and have a bit of room, then extras worth taking are things like salt pepper, tom sauce, wahsing up liquid, tea towels, dustbin bags, any of those little kitchen bits that you need and end up having to buy. Oil, herbs (if you are planning to cook, tea, coffee, sugar.

Otherwise you can spend quite a bit on the basic stuff.
