Need a tent for myself and 3 ds. Can you help me choose between these 2?

Have found these two tents on Millets site and are both quite reasonable.
Outwell Maine L
Eurohike Buckingham

Can anyone help me choose between them. Priorities are:
ease to put up, space and comfort.
My sons are 5,9 and 11 years, so may 'help' a little!

Thanks

There is a family tent in Halfords on sale at the mo half price at £99.99. Is tent with compartments and 2 double air beds and 4 sleeping bags. I think it seems a good deal!

Neither seem to have swen in ground sheets, which, in my opinion, are the best improvements in tents in recent years, especially if you have young children.

Personally, I would buy neither of your choices.

Does it HAVE to be one of those or could we try and find something else for you?

Look at the Outwell Hartford L here

£240. Not too heavy. Easy to put up. Stitched in ground sheet. 2 bedrooms. Large area in middle for storing kit, eating etc & a HUGE porch which I'd use for my kitchen area.

MMmm... love the Outwell Hartford L but too expensive for me. Thanks tho Doodle. It doesn't have to be the 2 Im looking at, but they're both about £100 ish in the Millets sale which is quite attractive to me. Have already got all the other accessories, so just need lovely cheap tent.

Husband may also come too occasionally, so need good sized bedrooms as he is 6ft 5"!

Six foot, five inches - that's bigger than a bed!!!!

Right, let's have a look around and see what else we might find. Back in a bit.

Right, take a look at this

Over 7ft high, so if your DH tags along, least he'll be able to stand up. Good area for living and options for cooking.

I know it's £70 more expensive, but andlipsticktoo, you'll rue the day if you go for one of your choices....mark my words

I bought a Maine L on Thursday and went away for the weekend with 2 daughters (2.5 and 7mths) and husband (6ft 1 so not quite as tall). We thought it was great - especialy for the price. It doesn't have a sewn in groundsheet but the two bedroom compartents do and there's a separate loose groundsheet for the middle area. It slept the four of us extremely comfortably and my youngest was in a travel cot so that was quite cumbersome. I tried to find out about it before buying it but as it's a 'Millets exclusive' - yes that did worry us, there's no information anywhere about it. I'd recomend buying two extra poles so you can put the door up as an awning. Otherwise a great tent - nice and airy and bright. I don't think there's much stock left available though, so if you want want I'd buy one quickly. Good luck!

Now I really can't make my mind up! The Gelert (sp?) looks great, v easy and quick to pitch, and v waterproof - v desirable in our climate! Yet the Maine L is so cheap.... decisions, decisions.
