Do you have the internal bedroom accessory thing as well MB?

I think it definitely deserves a thread of its own !!

Can you let us know how you get on with it please ? I am contemplating one to use with our folding camper for overnight stays instead of the awning, which is quick but not quick enough.

Very interested to hear how easy it is to get the "knack" for folding it that I keep seeing mentioned on threads about them !

I have also got the internal bedroom pod, as we will all be in it this summer.

The guy in the shot detached the tent from two others and packed it away in less than 10 minutes.

I was well impressed.

are those the individual pod type tents that pop up like the ELC garden toys !

Report
Blandmum · 07/07/2008 16:53

That's the one! Just like the ELC tents, but big enough for an adult to stand up in!

They are fab! - I have a 2 second air and an old style 3 second with joining tarp one of these

You just have to really firm with them - go at folding them like you really mean it. I find that if you don't get it right first time then it takes at least 5 more goes to do it

They are perfect for overnight stops though.

Ohgodohgodohgodohgod

The rain held off for long enough for me to put it up and take it down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ORGASMIC.

It is the mutts nuts, the bees knees and the whatevers doodahs.

Taking your advive to folded it up as if I mean buisness and it took less than 5 minutes.

Shit a farking brick this is great!

How big is the inside?

ivykaty44 · 07/07/2008 19:19

That is wicked - looks like an owl with ears, I love it

Report
Blandmum · 07/07/2008 19:23

Big enough for me to stand up in (I'm 5 5 and there was enough clearance above me. With the bedroom pod inside I could stretch out full length and there would be room for the 2 kids with comfort on mats/blow ups but not camp beds...4 people if you were very close!

It is 2.5 x 2.5 M

I want two

Report
Slubberdegullion · 07/07/2008 19:36

Yes! I am worth it by Joves.

I had resigned myself to getting a sensible old tarp to cook under, but that Quechua is just so snazzy.

why oh why can't I buy it online though? I have to traipse to bloomin Stockport.

well know that you say that....

I'm pondering the two base seconds vs 1 base seonds and 2 pop up option for next year.

I couldn't believe how easy it was to pack it down. A mate offered to help but I wanted to test the theory on my own and it is just fantastic

and check the prices on ebay because people were paying £69 for a 49 tent the last I looked

I've just watched their TV advertisement here I don't want one, I don't want one, I don't want one, I don't want one...

Report
Blandmum · 07/07/2008 19:39

and if you are only going to ise t to cook under go for the base seconds rather than the base seconds full, as it is £69 rather than £129 (doen't have the easy podability with the sleeping tents and a ground sheet, but if you just want it for cooking it would be excellent)
