We are camping somehwhere near 3 cliffs bay on Gower peninsula this weekend. As forecast is distinctly iffy would love to know of any good child-friendly pubs with food nearby in case the rain gets too much for us. Thanks

King Arthur Hotel, Reynoldsten, doesn't exactly have indoor facilities for kids but they are very welcome and the food is great.

Again the Oxwich Bay is similar - not as nice in my opinion but right by the beach if the rain suddently stops.

Both above may be really busy if they have weddings on too.

Kings Head in Llangennith is more child/teen friendly given it has a juke box, pool table etc and again good food.

Second Kings Head recommendation. Also, not foodie but the butterfly farm in swansea (plantasia?) is great if it is wet

Have taken various small babies and toddlers in to the Worms Head at Rhossili in the past and felt welcome. Nice beer too.

Eddy's Cafe at Hillend/Llangennith might be a good one.

second that suggestion for Eddy's. great camping atmosphere, very reasonable, tasty food. Playground , right on beach, £3.00 to park in car park - all day.

Great suggestions everyone, thanks. Now I just have to persuade the other family we are going with that eating out is an acceptable alternative to barbecuing in the rain!
