Will DC eat couscous?
We made fab one last week - added juice of lemon to water for couscous then when ready stirred in feta, tomatoes, spring onions and olives. Made on campsite but taken to barbeque at my sister's and her chef DH - held its own amongst his wonderful creations smile
Can really add anything to couscous though can be messy when eaten by 21mth old DS so best eaten outside!!

Pasta with a packet sauce is cheap and easy

oops - I didn't read the thread properlyblush We sometimes buy one of those ready cooked chickens from the supermarket and have that with nice bread. Not as cheap as pasta etc but a nice change and no need for cooking.

envy wish I was going camping. I'm really going to get into it next year though. Dss will love it and if Tex is over here he's an expert.

Hope you have a great time Sal et al smile
