I've found a lovely quiet campsite called Honeypot farm in a place called Wortham, Eye in Suffolk. Only about 45 pitches, so hopefully the fact that we are virgin campers won't be noticed too much! Now then, apart from the fishing lake on site, which dh & dd will love, does anyone know what else is nearish to Wortham? Here's hoping!

That's a worry! Is there nothing there!

Just had a look on google maps - it looks idyllic! There's a sports ground with tennis courts right around the corner though - does that help?

SPORT! Oh no! Don't do fitness! But thanks for looking in! There is a fishing lake on site, which dh and dd will be at for most of the time, and since she's 11 I don't need loads of stuff to do. Maybe I'll just kick back with a book for the week!

Maureen, just had a butchers at the campsite you're going to. Looks perfect, nice and quiet and peaceful. We stayed at Banham last year which is a few miles away past Diss and can vouch for the area, fields and farms and unspoilt countryside for miles.

We were on the coast directly to the east of you this week, at Kessingland. Not so quiet what with the lions roaring for the breakfast every morning!
