Coniston this weekend - to go or not to go?

Supposed to be camping in Coniston this weekend. No desire to go if conditions are truly awful. I can look at the weather forecast, obviously, but just wondering if anyone up there can keep me posted on likely condition of the campsite? Will make final decision on Thursday. Sorry, but am a wimpy, fairweather camper!Don't mind a bit of rain/mud but not up for total washout!

Think you might be right sep1712. Anyone who's up in the lakes... forecast seems reasonable for the rest of this week and the weekend, but how bad has it been there up til now? What is the campsite likely to be like?
