Medium size tent, small packing size

We had a Outwell Hartford XXL. Did us well for years. Now we go to France and need something that packs up smaller and is really quick to pitch. There is 4 of us (one 6ft 4)! We don’t necessarily need a big living compartment as usually head for the sunshine and have become fair weather campers! So need medium size, easy to put up and small pack. Not sure on inflatable as worried about puncture! Ideas gratefully received!

I'm delighted with our Vango inflatable tent, we went for an Edoras 400XL (I think that's the code anyway) in order to fit in 6'4" DP. However it's just the two of us, we car camp festivals sans children these days and would rather be spacious and comfy. However I would definitely recommend a browse of the Vango Airbeam collection.

The Vangos pack down much smaller than the other inflatables and they really are that easy to put up and take down. I did ours by myself in under 20 minutes, and with another pair of hands it was more like 12.

There is quite a bit of discussion about inflatables in the S European heat though: if you don't let air out the beams can burst as the day gets hotter and hotter....

For considerable heat I would go for a cotton or cotton mix tent if you can. Vango are bringing out a super-fast-to-pitch poly-cotton tent for next season, I forget where I saw it, I think on the CampingGuru Facebook page. I'll see if I can find it.

I agree - in good weather a small tent with a big tarp makes a great set-up.

I have had a look, I was thinking of the Vango Rosewood, but it is too small for you.

Have a look at the Robens polycotton tents.

I love my Zempire aerodome 2. Lots of ventilation, lots of space and surprisingly manageable pack size.

Is inflatable though
