A strange request I know and I'm probably being paranoid but we haven't been away much and my dd is great with her sleep routine at home sleeps thru every night and has a good lunch nap - it's wonderful - however I am rather nervous about sleeping in a tent with her. How will I put her down in an unusual setting - with no black out curtains!! Will she be disturbed by visits to the loo in the night!! You are probably thinking get a life girl but you know what its like. I'd just like some reasssuareance that we are going tohave a wonderful holiday, so please share what you did re getting them off to sleep etc - and how your little one was etc.

Have never camped with ours but I know how you feel! Any holiday is bound to be stressful as it is a break from your (and their) normal routine. Try to keep as much the same as you can - cuddlies, same words you use, familiar mobile?? and I am sure that will reassure her. Most of all stay calm and I am sure that you'll have a lovely time. Wish me luck in France in a fortnight with our 14 month old & 5 year old....8 hour ferry crossing to endure!!!
