Planning on camping in our own tent near Paris. The plan is to stay on a site with pool and do day trips every other day or so to Paris, versailles possibly Disney.

Any suggestions?

Sorry, just seen you want a pool. It doesn't have one, but is attached to recreation area with a swimming lake. I haven't seen any campsites close to Paris with a pool, bit there will be plenty if you're willing to stay a bit further out.

four vents has a pool, though we didn't use it so no idea if hot/cold. We also only did Eurodisney from here, which was a very easy drive, but no idea how easy it it to get into Paris from here. Lovely campsite, very helpful owners.

We stayed at the one called La Croix du vieux pont (also advertised as Berny Riviere). Several linked small but pleasant pools, plus a manmade lake with a beach all round we enjoyed swimming in every evening during a heatwave. We drove to Paris and disney - about an hour - but the campsite also runs a coach to each once a week you can pre-book including disney tickets. Nice beach bar and ok restaurant (be aware there are zero places to eat around and about in local towns or at least we couldn't find them, it is quite rural. They had climbing, archery, canoeing and fishing too. We stayed in an apartment, but also had a night in a eurocamp treehouse there - as I recall the shower facilities were fine. The camping fields were kind of walled and quite pretty as I recall from my morning run. I liked it, better than I had anticipated although I think the reviews I read were pretty positive. It has the whole range of apartments/safari type tents/campsite/eurocamp tents etc.

Although as we booked direct with them for the apartment, they were very strict - they walked me round the apartment to check it was clean and made me get a cloth to wipe up two crumbs I had missed on a coffee table and they didn't believe I had washed the floor because it was dry. I wouldn't mind, but I spent ages cleaning it and thought I had done great!

I have friends who stayed at the Berny Riviere campsite. I think it's a good option if Paris is not the focus of your trip, but just somewhere you want to visit a couple of times.

We stayed at les Etangs Fleuris for our Paris/Disney trip. If was about 20 minutes drive to val d'europe shopping centre where you can park for free and get the train to DLP or central Paris very easily. The site has a pool with a slide which was very welcome as we were in an August heat wave when we visited.
