Campsite needed in South East

We are trying to book our annual camping weekend with friends but our preferred campsite isn't open on the dates we want to go.
Our must haves are that they allow open fires, have decent showers, allow gazebos and allow cars at the pitch.
Child friendly too, preferably walking distance to a decent pub, and no permanent pitches.
Any suggestions?

Check out Housedean farm, Lewes, East Sussex. Sorry can't do link. It's in a beautiful spot & you can hop on the bus into Lewes town centre which has loads of good pubs.

Have you looked at the New Forest campsites? Some have showers some don't, I have been looking at Ashurst which would meet your criteria. No marked pitches, decent shower block, 5 mins walk into the village.

midbrooks in Wiltshire?

Oxford Oak but when we tried to take our camper one year the site was empty and the field way to wet to drive on, looked great for a decent summer stay though.

Town Farm is on my list to visit, has had good reviews on here.

Britchcombe Farm is our go to favourite for large groups and open fires, but the showers are in a portacabin at the farmhouse, can be a walk, and nothing really walkable from the site apart from the White Horse, fantastic scenery, but is well worth considering.
