We're off to Sussex next week. Weather forecast looking good. Glamped in Feb but can't wait to get the tent out finally!

Me, North Yorkshire Coast.

I haven't dared look at the weather yet.

There were a few of us on another thread recently.

Me too. Off to sunny Wales. Just checked the weather again and there are showers on Monday afternoon and the rest of the week should be dry. Need to get up and carry in with the packing now Smile

We are! But we haven't broken up yet, still have another week at school, so no point checking forecast yet.

Yep away on Easter weekend. Kids have another week in school yet too.
Praying for decent weather!

Me!

We're aiming for Snowdonia, but Wales doesn't seem to have got the memo that winter is over- so we might just go to our usual in Bodiam.

We're hoping it's a bit warmer by the cast saucy. I would tell you tomorrow but won't have the benefit of wifi Smile

Yep, going to the west country. First time in our new tent having retired the 30 year old 2-man old faithful...and first time with the baby! Hope she likes it, we can't have a non-camper in the family Wink

Yes saw the other thread. Nice to see a few of us getting out there. We are off tomorrow and I can't wait for the fresh air! Weather staying dry it seems for the south east at least!

I have just looked at the weather forecast 3 degree lows and a bit of rain, very different to last weekend.

Had glorious 3 days this weekend. Off to West Country this coming weekend. So nice to have fresh air - it feels like I can breathe again after months indoors.

Last weekend was amazing mousey. I keep checking the weather, obsessively. Rain gone but highs of ten and lows of three - big debate here over which tent to take, DH doesn't want to take the one with the stove, I do.

Took bell tent last weekend. Was fine. There was ice in the kettle on sat morning first thing!

DH and DD have been three times now already this year mousey but I have been ill and am a bit concerned about my chest in the cold. So we are arguing about whether or not the wood burner is required.

Wood burner always required! Grin

No. Too cold for me. We don't normally go, but went last Easter when Friends asked us to go with them. Dh and I agreed, during, that it was a one off!! Will stick with the 2 May bank holidays.

It is freezing here Oblomov we have got a fire roaring away and casserole and dumplings in the oven.

We usually camp all year round but I am just getting over pneumonia and haven't managed it all all this year .... hence my paranoia.

Likes sound of Dumplings Flowers. Not so much the freezing part!

We're caravanning, which I know is slightly cheating because it has heating, but still really looking forward to it :)

We are meant to be going to Snowdonia but I am very put off by this cold spell - we only have a tiny tent and can't really sit inside it so there's nowhere to sit in the evenings.

I took dc camping for 1st time this yr last weekend. To Langdale in Lake District. Was lovely weather but flipping cold in the mornings! I have a 3yr old who likes to get up at crack of dawn, esp when camping, and I just want to stay snuggled in my sleeping bag until the last minute!
We have a pretty good outwell family tent with big inside porch area but I was still jealous of my friend, who often camps with us, she has a bell tent & stove! My dog is often found in her tent of an evening!

heron we used to use a small mountain tent, but a few too many wet summers made us buy a big family tent (pre kids haha). Best thing we ever did and well worth the investment!

We're taking the campervan to Dorset on Friday. DH has just informed me it will be an early start - 7am!

I need to move myself now and start packing as working tomorrow.

We used to tent camp at Easter when I was a kid but I wouldn't go until May Day now, and only then if we can have a fire.

Hope it stays dry and not windy for everyone. Have fun!
