am i right in thinking there is a train, that you can put your car on that goes to the south of france?

has anyone ever done it? early research tells me the people have to go on a different train and meet your car there. is it easier to just drive? even with small children?

I've never done it but did consider it a few years back. You would have to drive to Paris to get one though. In the end we decided that having made it to Paris by road we might as well just carry on.

Yes, though as a previous poster said its only from Paris now. It used to be from Calais, but that stopped some years ago. We did it a few times, but not since it started in Paris - we like the drive to be honest, you can stop when and where you like and get some fresh air! Plus we're a bit precious about our cars and I never quite trusted them ;-)
