Camping Le Conguel on the Quiberon peninsula in Brittany

Contemplating this as v taken with location. Close to beach, town, area seems v nice etc. We were in Des Menhirs at Carnac Plage last year. Really enjoyed the site, but found the town too commercial for my liking.

Any one stayed there?

I'm worried about the traffic as we got caught in a terrible traffic jam getting off the peninsula last year and I'd hate that to be a necessity every time we wanted to go exploring. I doubt there's enough on the peninsula alone to keep us happy!

Go to Perros Guirec... It's fab. Camping le Ranolien for the site. I went every year at least once for 20 years, love it! We always seemed to sail on the "quiberon" ferry, felt like a second home! X

We always used to go to Le Conquel and the children consider it "their" campsite in France.

Depends on what you want but our teenagers always palled up with others on the camp site; Casino supermarche not too far away; could walk into Port Maria etc, etc. Brings back lots of lovely memories for us.

Thank you guys Smile Perros Gueric looks nice but it's a bit far north for me, I am hopeful of sunshine! Hence focussing more around Carnac.
