Drink flask recommendations?

Not precisely camping, but I thought campers might have good ideas for this!

We are travelling next week to Romania, where the temperatures are expected to be low-mid 30s. DS2 (3.8) is heavily milk dependent when he isn't feeling his best or has had a change in routine. If he wakes up in the night and has trouble sleeping he usually wants milk.

Some of the hotels we are staying in do not have mini bars in the room, so I was hoping to get a flask to keep a litre or so of milk cold, for up to 12 hours in 30+ weather. If it's not drunk in that time, we'd ditch it and get more. It would mostly be used overnight as we can usually find milk during the day for him.

Any suggestions for a flask that will keep its contents cold for long periods of time?

These are great. Keep things cold for 24 hours. We have a small one for milk and the big one will hold bottle of wine…perhaps not for DS though!!

CampingClaire knows about the coolest stuff OP.

Please learn to keep your gear opinions to yourself CC, I have just purchased two, one for milk, one for wine Grin, on the basis that I will have more room for cold food storage of course.

Haha lavendersun When I realised it freed up the wine space I was so smug! DH very impressed with my find so I got brownie points too!!

You are so behind in the brownie stakes campingclaire, it was almost certainly you who convinced me to let DH buy the tentipi, and stove, and groundsheet - think how many that was worth!

We have managed to light the stove a couple of times, just not in the tent as it is much too warm. The tent is still up in the side garden drying after we got home on Sunday - likely to become a permanent feature judging by the weather forecast this week.

Ohhh, love those flasks. Very sexy...... In a camping kind of way, obviously.

hz - the word 'flask' is not what I wanted to hear Grin. I am expecting DH to say .... but it is just a flask - clearly it is something else in my mind! Cool gear type something else.

I might conduct an experiment with a flask and one of these bottles and publish my findings if they work the way I want them to
