Uco candle lanterns are very lovely - you could get a mini one for £15 - maybe cheaper if you shop around.

Not terribly practical really but very pretty and the light they produce is lovely.

My girls did similar for my husband's Father's Day present. The 99p shop was great. Torch, chopping boards, tin opener, cork screw, matches, coffee bags,cutlery, tongs, wooden spoons.

Definitely headtorch and microfibre towel. Telescopic fork for toasting marshmallows. The fluffy bed socks are an inspired suggestion above. Maybe a hot water bottle. Maybe a collapsible water bottle

Those collapsible water bottles are a great idea and they sell them in M&S shops too if you need one in a hurry.

The 99p shop are currently doing a string hammock in their camping gear - don't know how good it would be but quite fun.

A packet of butchers' hooks are a good idea too - v useful for hanging things on in and out of the tent (got that idea from Blu I think)...

Is she wild camper / campfire type of camper? If so I recommend a granpa's toasting fork which turns any stick into a toasting fork for toast, marshmallows or sausages over a fire. Though you could just use the stick for marshmallows, to be fair.

On the lighter advice below: you need a turbo-flame style lighter, not an ordinary bic / cigarette type lighter - you can point it horizontally at your cooker, BBQ, fire, etc without burning your fingers.

Yes, I am the butchers hook advocate - especially for hanging over the top of shower cubicle doors when there are never enough hooks, but also from a line hung between trees or whatever.

And I love these £3 lights: you can stand them up, hang them from an overhead hook, or tree, and I have even threaded one through my pyjama top buttons as a reading light here very light to carry.

That is the tent pack with a remote control for added laziness, and there is also a hiking pack which allows you to put the lights on a headband to turn them from a tent light into a headtorch - very useful. We have a couple of them and they do throw out a decent light.

Although I must admit, I do like those Vango ones.

I saw those lights on Decathlon and couldn't make head nor tail of what it was they did. Plus they seemed pricey, especially given I couldn't work out how to use them.

With your explanation they seem a lot more tempting!
