Can anyone recommend any good campsites in Germany? We don't mind too much which part, although probably would avoid the area around Cologne as DS will have a school trip there soon! The Black Forrest is somewhere we would love to go, but open to other suggestions as well!
We will be driving from ostend or calais, but don't mind a long drive or even to take a couple of days if it means a good campsite at the end.
Size of site doesn't matter, but it would be good if it had a swimming pool and an area where the DC can play football etc. We will have a biggish tent so we need somewhere with good sized pitches.
Anyone have any ideas?

Sudsee camp which is near Hanover , fab camp brill swimming pool and man made beach and loads to see and do in the area. Used to live near it years ago and stayed there 2 years ago when we took our children on holiday
