Please reccomend me a tent as ours has died a slow painful mildew death.
My brief is as follows

  • £300 - £500 budget
  • 4-5 birth (me, DH, DD and usually one other guest for DD)
  • integral ground sheet
  • very easy for unpractical and rather hopless me to put up on my own or with minimal help from kind campers who see me struggling!
  • able to stand up in

Any ideas welcolme

I think this is the tent we got last year. Two compartments, although you can take the separator out. It's fairly easy to put up - three hoops to give the structure. Front and side entrances. Lots of space to store things or have chairs and games out if it's raining. We are able to stand up in it easily but then we are short-arses.

*Two adjacent sleeping compartments, for clarity.

I love Khyam tents.
This tent is very easy to erect (see their online videos) and has lots of space - on sale too! My friend can put hers up single handed.

We have their "Winnipeg" for our smaller tent but I can't see they make it now.

outwell montana 6p... can't see any particularly good value (£599) however there are a few on eBay that are real bargains

This one comes with the footprint and carpet (total cost about £800) it is currrently £100!
