Hello campers, anyone got this tent?

After seemingly spending ages trying to decide we went to a tent show today and saw this one 'in the canvas' and looks just what we need.

Any views/ horror stories?

Just been away for the weekend in our small tent (we are looking for bigger one). Looked round campsite and saw a couple of the Montana ones - they looked great - people seemed to have loads of room in them and I am def considering one of these myself.

We're looking for one to do shortish trips - three nights max at the moment.

Am wondering if it's hard to put up.....

how many of you will be using it? Are you100% sure that you will only want to use it for short periods. For longer use you need (IMHO ) 2+ on the number of people who will be using it IYSWIM. They are excellent tents, and very similar to the one that we have (outwell colorado , now the indiana)

They are easy to put up, it takes dh half an hour to get ours up (!) and ours sleeps 8.

Great tents, well designed and made. I'm getting a montana when our tent dies!

There are four of us, two kids 3 and 6.

I think we're probably going to be campers lite and just do weekends MB. Can't face the idea of a week in the british weather but I do agree (having looked at the montana 4 and 6) that we'd need something substantially bigger for longer periods.

We went to a show yesterday too - we thought we were going to buy the Hartford L or XL but when we saw teh Montana 4, it was love at first sight (for me, anyway)!

Puddle, like you, as much as I enjoy camping I think 3 or 4 days is our limit tbh.

We also went tent hunting last week and came to the conclusion the Outwell Montana is the only tent we want to buy next. I love the little rain porch at the side

We're only having two camping weekends this year so we'll make do with our unknown brand crappy tiny 4 birth and try to buy the Montana over the winter.
