Not got one I'm afraid but we have been looking at tents for what seems like weeks now!
Best advice - find a tent show near you and go and have a look. They can be so different in the flesh so to speak!
We had a tent show round the corner - it's been such a wet and windy week it was a real eye opener.
They did have that one you're looking at and all I remember thinking was it had a huge number of guy ropes.
The chap we spoke to said they had had more problems with the tents with sleeping "pods" and with dome tents than with tunnel types.
Where are you?

No, although we have a similar 6 berth Gelert (we never seem to need the extra space, why is that? mind you kids share a pod and like it that way).

if you go on www.ukcampsite.com and search you'll get loads of reviews, but i will say I have never ever seen a negative comment about that tent.

A key question for me is the groundsheet.
Do you want a sewn-in type? Or a more conventional groundsheet?
The groundsheet on this is a sewn in type which means if it lobs it down you'll stay dry but it won't perhaps be quite as well ventilated as one not sewn-in.
It's HH is 5000 which is very high - it will withstand a lot of rain.
It's heavy - almost 60KG which is very heavy but not always a problem if you have big car / roofbox.
What did you think when you saw it? Was it windy? Did it feel solid when you were in it? Or was it flapping about?
Are there any others you are cosidering?
That UKcampsite website has lots of goos reviews on it.
Sorry, been thinking "tent" for too long ...

yep, that's the main issue with sig's!!!! ther are a few tents now with sigs that have velcro so you can let them down, thereby stopping the lip bit from tripping up your kids. But hey where's the fun in that? Wink

after having no sig last year, we went fro one this time. You can open doors for ventilation should you need to, waterproofing is priceless.

Our tent has brigh green, glow in the dark guy ropes. Both kids regularly trip over them, and the SIG of the bedroons, and the non sig of the living area! Grin

Surprised you didn't feel the draw on your purse just going past (PC just a bit Envy as they selldelicious posh desserts which she can't justify buying!)

If they don't have that Welsh meet up we'll have to meet up one day you know!
