We have a challenge.
We've just got back from a couple of weeks away when, for the most part, we had nice weather. But inevitably there were a couple of wet days, during which it became apparent that there is a minor leak somewhere in one of two taped seams - the only symptom we get is that after a reasonable amount of rain we start to see droplets appearing where two tapes intersect (from two intersecting seams), which then drips onto whatever is beneath.
We wouldn't be too worried, except that (typically) the drip is right over the access point that Outwell put in for the electricity cable and so the drips are very close to the power. Unless we trail cables half way round the tent, which really doesn't seem cunning with a small child.
So. What do we do about it? Do we try and find the original leak, or just try and seal the join on the tape where the water actually appears inside the tent? If the former, how?
Any suggestions appreciated :)
