I am going to surprise dh and take him away for camping and ( close by pubs), can anyone recommend anywhere? We are in tiverton so anywhere in devon or cornwall is good..

He has had a tough year, some time away from kids and quiet but with a pub nearby would do him I think!

Does anyone know of somewhere perfect to take my man?!

I'm in Tiverton too

I think North Devon is usually nice for camping, maybe Woolacombe or somewhere like that? Have fun!

Yes please listen to me! Camping can be hard work.We do camping,we have 4 DC.But on the rare occasion we get a night to ourself I know we would rather spend it somewhere we can really chill.

Yeah I saw something on lastminute.com the other day... log cabins near Ilfracombe, not quite camping, but a real bargain...

here it is but look it up on the lastminute website instead (not sure how to link to search results) as I saw a 4 bed chalet going this weekend for £99!

Ooh hello blue bump! Peacemoon, I would have agreed with you before, but there is something about snuggling up in a warm duvet in a tent!

And its proper quality time, sitting outside the tent with a glass of wine looking at the stars.....

Thanks for suggestions, will have a look, bit poor though so it might have to be a cheap one!
