I keep sniffing it grin

I think I'm going to be google translating a lot this weekend! grin

oh my envy

Hahahhaha at sniffing it. Me too grin

Do you have an iPhone? Is there not a clever app where you can scan stuff and get it translated?

I need to live vicariously through your tent erecting experience this weekend.

What tent is it? Do you think you could get a copy of the instructions online somewhere?

Using translate is probably quickest, but may turn into gobbledegook in places; will be happy to have a look over to see if instructions haven't mistranslated into something disastrous

I am Dutch. Can I help??

BadBagel Fri 08-Jul-11 18:27:09

I am Dutch too, I can help.

BehindLockNumberNine Fri 08-Jul-11 18:30:38

Love your decisiveness Badbagel - I ask 'can I help' and you tell the OP you can help grin

Either way, between us we can sort it out. Mind you, have not lived in NL for a while so may need to bow to your superior Dutch (if not your decisiveness grin

BadBagel Fri 08-Jul-11 18:38:14

I said I can, I didn't say I would grin

As for a 'proper' translation, don't worry lucycat won't notice wink
I am not a camper though.

SeaShellsAndTheInlawInvasion Fri 08-Jul-11 18:56:23

grin Yey Lucycat!

EggyAllenPoe Fri 08-Jul-11 18:59:23

is this the pyramide one?

Lucycat Fri 08-Jul-11 19:01:45

BadBagel - what are you going to tell me to do in Dutch so I make a complete arse of myself? grin

I shall attempt to type some out later - although I've found that just saying the word in a Dutch accent seems to help greatly smile

and there are a few pictures to help - it can't be that hard can it?

she smells lovely. Hypercamp Palamos 6 tis her.

BadBagel Fri 08-Jul-11 20:25:35

Now that would be telling.....

Just settle yourself on the sofa with a glass of Dutch beer (heineken or grolsch) and a slice of Edam or Gouda combined with that Dutch accent and you won't be needing us grin

BehindLockNumberNine Fri 08-Jul-11 23:19:15

Loving BadBagel's suggestion and I have to say, that is how dh works out what my dsis and I are talking about when we forget ourselves and get carried away chatting Dutch.

Let us know how you get on grin

Slubberdegullion Sat 09-Jul-11 08:06:28

Hahaha @ translation via the power of grolsh and gouda.

SeaShellsAndTheInlawInvasion Sat 09-Jul-11 14:04:28

Badbagal-I use a similar approach with Norwegian and find my understanding greatly improves if I'm drinking hansa and eating reindeer sausage wink

I hope you managed to get your tent up!
