had to do the preparatory shots for Canopy and Stars for our 24 day 'pop up wild glampsite'
would love some feedback.
Waiting to get confirmation on prices, as we are not allowed to undercut C&S. Will be available for Fri-Mon, or Mon- Fri from Aug 5th until end of the bank holiday. 3 will be just for couples, 1 can have a family of 4, and will have space if a group of 3 or 4 families, as there are places in the woods where they could pitch a tent too. Cool boxes, all crockery etc, bedding, firewood, gas stove and tripod over personal firepit, plus can supply local breads, home produced meat products, eggs, bakery stuff, milk etc.
Hope the link works wild glamping

Love your styling, the vintage frame tent certainly isnt cliched glamping

I love the retro ercol 70s vibe - it looks really fresh after all the bunting cupcake iron bed bell tent looky-likey glamping.

my tent is like that :) beware, they are never really waterproof crosses fingers after having washed and double coated her own tent during the week ...

....ok, well mine doesn't have a bed in it.

that area could se some better sites - we used to go to Park Farm alot but its got expensive and to busy at weekends.

omg..went to 'canopy and stars' - they have some seriously nice sitery. Bit more 'boutique site' than 'good CS with permanent accoms'

things to be clear on in your ad : dogs policy. always annoys me when i have to read through an entire site to find they don't take dogs.

Looks Fab.... where are you based?

EAP - good advice about the waterproofness - think a gallon of nikwax might be in order this weekend.
We sadly cant take dogs because we are a working farm with sheep and non-too-friendly dogs ourself.
We are based about 5 miles North of Battle, East Sussex (site of the Battle of Hastings)

i think technically, a canvas waterproofer is recommended..as don't nikwax/fabsil coat the surface making it less breatheable?
and so far - 15 litres of the stuff have gone on.
till, i had used 'storm canvas waterproofer' and just one coat wasn't enough..though it was belting it down. it seeps through where the poles contact the canvas.

doing the second coat was a bit crap though...because its already a bit waterproof, most of it went on me!

Yup - the weekend is on. I just need to work out price for weekend as waiting for costs of the portaloos! (Its fine to pee behind a bush, but not sure anything more would be a popular choice!!) I will put up a new thread as soon as I have done the calculations, as we swung the in laws round this weekend and they are all for it. MIL has suggested cooking some celebratory scones!
