our airbeds, simple ones with electric pump, are nearing their end of life.
we use(d) them for camping and as guest beds.
what should I get as replacement? are those australian ready beds (what are they called) any good?
the flat is small, so storage is an issue...

Have you looked at the self inflating mats. They are very good. You undo the valve and they inflate themselves. You just need to blow a little extra air in if you want to. Deflating is a bit more tricky, you roll them up squeezing the air out as you go. Would recommend. I think we got ours from Oswald Bailey camping shop.We got the cheapest, double and 3 singles and and they were fine.

We bought a ReadyBed online. Double bed cost £40 in sale, includes built-in bedding. Inflates and deflates really easily with battery-op pump. Was an excellent buy. I think they do fairly regular sales if you buy direct from them.

We have triple height airbeds which I think would be more acceptable to visitors? Similar to this one
