Spring form tins...

So thought i'd buy some of these without doing any research, and now they are here and i've just read you cannot use them for normal cakes? I'm wanting to make a tiered birthday cake (2 tiers) and usually just use a victoria sponge or madeira cake recipe. Would these work or be too runny to use in a spring form?

I use them all the time. Never had a problem.

I use sprinf form and loose bottom.

Prefer the loose ones but I think that is because they were a bit more expensive.

Im sure they will be fine.

I've used spring form tins with very runny recipes.

I think if they're decent quality, you won't have too much trouble.

I use springform tins for all cakes, inc a choc cake that has an almost liquid batter!

I've already had a go and it came out lovely. In fact best cake ive ever done (just had cheapy ones before)
