To colour chocolate you will need to use an oil based colouring, your local cake decorating shop should stock it.
You can soften it by warming it in your hands, but I don't think you can melt it.
Thanks Bananas. Can you melt marzipan for dipping?Dc aren't keen on marzipan though...
I have not used candy melts but I have eaten them and they are yum.
Does it have to be candy melts and are they disgusting?!I've tried adding gel food colouring to white chocolate but it goes all funky/grainy/curdled. Any ideas?
