Have you ever thought about running your own small enterprise supporting or caring for people in your local community? The Knowsley Community Micro-enterprise Project, run by Community Catalysts in Partnership with Knowsley Council can help turn your ideas into reality.
We believe that people who need help to live their life should have a choice of small, high quality support and care services. The work in Knowsley aims to help make this happen by helping people like you set up their own micro-enterprise offering care or support to people in their community.
Micro-providers set up their enterprise in different and creative ways – some set up as a business or social enterprise and charge for the services they offer and others opt to offer support where no money changes hands.
What they all have in common is that they want to make a difference to the live of the people they support and they have a very personal interest in how the service is delivered.
For example, Community Catalysts can:
Help you to develop your ideas Provide friendly and supportive feedback Give practical information on everything from regulation to training Direct you to other organisations who can help
