Hi,

i came across this link on the Mencap website. Please Please take 2 minutes to do this:

campaign.publicaffairsbriefing.co.uk/home.aspx?cid=a40a1351-24bc-414f-bd3a-7feadd851 ea3

It's asking you to send an e-invitation (already written) to your MP to go to the next meeting of the All Party Group on Learning Disability where MPs/politicians will be talking about stopping bullying of disabled children in school. This is so important to me as I remember being bullied at school and it has definitely affected me to this day. MPs DO LISTEN to their constituents (cos they want to get voted!), so please take the time!

Hi,
I just tried your link, but it didn't work for me.

I also tried the Mencap website, but couldn't find the relevant link there. Sorry, lack of sleep last night is making me even more dippy than normal .

Is there any chance of another link please?
Thankyou.

Did the bullies pick on you because you have a disability, apricotmorning? If so, would you mind saying what your disability is?

I have been looking for a topic to research/write about for my MEd thesis. One I have considered is bullying of children with autistic spectrum disorder - including aspergers syndrome in schools. In the National Autistic Society's Make School Make Sense campaign, the percentage of children who said they'd been bullied at school seemed low to me.
