My 9 year old son came home 2 weeks ago on thursday with a bite on his leg from a child in his class. I went and spoke to his teacher the next morning as hadnt been contacted by school. Then last monday he come he again with bite no 2. There was a nite in his school planner (which ive attached) his water bottle was then broke on thursday and went missing yesterday so went all day without a drink. I had a meeting with the head and ot was like ahe was reading out of a book. Stratagies have been put in place is all i got from here but she wouldnt day what. The boy that bit my son does have learning probs but still no excuse. Need help on what to do. What she wrote in my sons book to me makes it sound like it was his fault. Pic 2 is 1st bite pic 3 2nd bite

Blaming the victim... I am very familiar with this. I am not in the UK and don't understand the school system or what options there are but I feel for you and your ds.

They didn't even mention the bite marks.....just said a mark on his hip!
I would definitely go into school and say that you want details of consequences.

They're implying your son was involved in a negative way so I'd try to find out if he provoked the biting child etc. They won't tell you the name of the other child, although I'm guessing your son has, but I would definitely take it further. They've been very sketchy in their info and they are big, bad bite marks.

This does call for some further investigation and I would definitely pursue other options with the school, like talk with the staff again and ask for more details.
