Hi Has anyone tried the elvie breast pump? What's Ur oppinion of it and isit worth the money?

I'm thinking about getting one as I breast fed for 2 weeks and then I ended up completely stoping as baby's latch was so strong I was getting really sore soI tried pumping for a week to give my nipples a rest to heal with my mandella but with a 18 month toddler it was really hard to beable to sit still long enuff to pump wired up without him pulling off.

I thought the handsfree elvie might work wonders but my milk supply has seased up now she's almost 6 weeks and I have not been breast feeding or pumping fort the last 3 weeks. I'm really keen to try and breast feed again isit possible to get milk supply back?

If I pump again regularly with an elvie am I likely to get a milk supply back? Will it be worth me purchasing one.

I currently live with my partner and two kids at my parents house as the house we was purchasing fell through so I want to beable to pump discreetly while still being able to do what I need around the house and with my toddler.

Isit a good option for me? Or do you think I should just carry on with formula now.

Please help with my dilemma

I've been lurking on the Feb 2019 Postnatal thread and, at the risk of sounding stalkerish, I think @Celebelly was talking about this pump and how well it worked for her. Maybe you can have a look at that thread.

It was a few pages back in the thread. Hopefully you can search.

I just saw this!

I have the Elvie pumps and really like them, but I think if I were you I would use a cheaper pump to try to build supply first as I think they're better pumps for maintaining supply v building. Is it a Medela Swing you have? With a handsfree pumping bra and the belt clip, you can be fairly mobile with it. Maybe even a manual pump might be worth trying to see if you can boost supply a bit before forking out for the Elvies as they aren't cheap!

Hi, Sorry to barge in, just wanted to let you know that we tested the Elvie breast pump over a period of three months as part of our research into the best breast pumps around right now.

Our tester was really impressed with the Elvie. Spillages are a risk and it's much more expensive than a regular breast pump, but for a mum of twins returning to work after six months, it was a game changer.

Take a look at our Elvie breast pump review to find more.

Hope that helps
