I've only gone and bought a bloody maternity bra . What's the point in maternity bras, why not just make them all nursing bras!

Can't send it back 'due to hygiene reasons'. Haven't tried it on yet but it is probably too big for me still, and I wanted a nice bloody nursing bra! Wah! What a waste!

I got it on Brandalley (so fortunately it was only a tenner - but still...) but now they are not on sale I can't see them on the site so I can't see whether it was sold as a nursing bra. ut on at least one other website it calls it a maternity nursing bra, and on a another it says 'for maternity and beyond'.

I don't know what size I am. haven't been measured since being pg (just wearing my old ones and hoping for the best!) and all my nursing bras are different sizes! But the one I ordered (which was again 'hope for the best') is 36DD. Some of mine are 34C though.

They're too big then. But pleeeaassee get measured. Seriously, it's the bestt weight loss, morale boost I've had. I looked a stone lighter when I started wearing the tight size nursing bra and felt so much comfier.

I'm ok for the minute (only 18 weeks) but I know what you mean about getting fitted properly. When my milk had settled down I went to a decent place (not just M&S) and got a lovely bra which made a lot of difference. I'll get measured next time I'm in town.

monkeysmama what size are you trying to sell? I've just bought another one online for £24! Royce as I have big norks ;( but if yours are the right size I'd buy the unworn ones ;0)

That's strange. All the bras I bought from Hotmilk had nursing clips and I don't think I was particularly careful about making sure they had them.

Phone them direct and tell them they are rubbish - I've taken maternity tops back to mothercare before on the basis that they are not nursing so don't put them near the nursing tops in store!!!!!!

I also point out that if they can't make shopping ridiculously easy then they should not be selling to harried mothers - I think the same advice goes for hot milk - I too would assume that all hot milk bras would be for nursing.

You can send things back if they are faulty, and I think you should send it back on the basis that you expect it to have nursing clips in. You can email the company here so maybe you could check whether it was meant to have nursing clips or not?

Are you sure you can't return for a refund? I've bought plenty of nursing bras online that I've returned when I've found out that they don't fit... That was with Mothercare, JoJoMamanBebe and Blooming Marvellous. I don't know who you bought it through, but i'd double check the refund policy.

I think when you buy things remotely you might be entitled to a refund anyway. Have a look for the Distance Selling Regulations (or put a shout out somewhere on here for someone who knows about them).

Thanks all. Have emailed BrandAlley but it came with a note saying no refunds for lingerie. I didn't even think to check, I assumed they were all nursing bras. It's called Hot Milk FFS!

Oooh i LOVE my Hot Milk nursing bras. I am so relieved i didn't sell them on after the last baby.

It made me very happy to think of them still in my drawer for feeding this baby.

Bumper, I own and run a lingerie business in the UK and I can tell you that by law every UK website has to accept returns within 7 days, it is your right as a consumer. They may say no, but they are breaking the law and I am sure if you quote the DSR's as linked to below by a PP they will back down. Makes me so mad when companies try and do this!

Just found this on google so sorry for bumping a zombie thread.

Wish I had seen this as I've just done exactly the same thing. Bought a hot milk bra from Zulily and turns out its not a nursing bra. I'm so pissed off as was really excited to have a nice, pretty nursing bra to replace the manky ones that I'm currently wearing which are 3 years old.

Even worse I've sent it straight back but then just seen that zulily don't allow you to return bras. Not sure what happens now, will they send it back to me?

Did anyone else order one of these? I'd like to know what the original listing said as im sure it wasn't clear that it wasn't a nursing bra. Why would you make a range called hot milk anyway if it wasn't nursing bra's?

They have to accept it back if you send it within 7 days of receiving it. Distance selling regs (see above, especially vix206). You're probably responsible for the cost of posting it.
