I'm so out of proportion!

Not sure whether this should go in Big, Slim or here - well, it's here now!

Um, ds is 11 months and bfs at least 5-7 times in 24 hours. I have noticed lately that my bottom half is getting smaller and smaller and my top bit staying the same. Bought a bikini today and had to get 10 for bottoms and 14 for top. Feel really self-conscious and weird-looking. Is it because am bfing or is my body going to be like this for ever (argh!) Please help, is getting me a bit down. dh thinks I am bonkers.

You're NOT out of proportion, you're in fab shape!

And if you are, I am too! I have to buy size 14 tops and size 10 bottoms - but the thought of buying a bikini gives me shivers - never showing anybody I'm not related to my tummy ever again (unless for medical or birth reasons!).

I am becoming really obsessed, driving dh mad! just makes me feel sooooo gross!

If you were a peculiar shape, I'd say so. I'd couch it in more acceptable terms, but I'd say so. You're not.

Ah - a tankini. May manage one of those, but def not a bikini! The idea fills me with terror! It's a shame I didn't appreciate how gorgeous I was before I had children...

Honestly, you aren't a funny shape. And better to be a size 14 top and size 10 bottom than the other way round IMO and IME

pmsl again! suppose so...just feel like a matronly middle-agedperson. which I suppose I am (shudder)

Scary, isn't it?! I know just what you mean!

Hard to believe this time next year I'll be joining you as a mother of two - not used to being a mother of one yet! LOL!
