Would it be bad to re-heat EBM

ds3 was very tired and cranky earlier and I tried to give him a bottle of EBM which he refused. He will only drink it warm. Would it be bad to re-heat it and give it to him later, I know you can't do this with formula but Kellymom says its OK to keep EBM for another feed. I think they're thinking of cold milk though

Don't think you should reheat any milk.

I think there are fewer risks with EBM, but I wouldn't personally risk it.

The key to EBM is to save it in only small amounts 2 - 4oz, so that you don't feel the need to risk saving it. Pouring 8oz down the drain must feel awful.

Darn, I kind of knew thats what people would say! Its only about 3oz though so not too bad!

chipmonkey you can leave it out at room temp.

breastmilk is fine at room temp for 8-11 hours!

But not if it's been in the fridge, warmed, fed to a baby, and then left to cool again.
