d's is 6 months and teething, and will no longer take more than 1-2 ounces of milk from avent bottle.....tried a steribottle with the nice soft latex teat and ever since she has had her normal 8-9 ounces.....I am trying to find a teat that closley resembles the steribottle. Does anyone have any idea's please?? Its costing me a fortune trying to find one that looks and feels the same!

is it textured at all? I have a very soft teat that came with my Podee Bottle - an american device for hands free feeding. Jess loved it when teething too, and would normally only take a whole bottle with it.

Hummingbird, I got latex teats in boots which fit the avent bottles. They don't "click in" like the avent teat will, you have to more or less sit the teat on the bottle and screw the cap on but once on they work.

the tommy tippy ones are softer than advent ones - my dd wouldn't drink from advent ones too - if you have wide necked bottles then they should fit

sorry, another thought, I use MAM teats on my Avent bottles, they're not latex but they are softer and fit very well

First off i cut the little bumps off the side of the steri-bottle and reused it by using cold water sterilization using milton[doesn't need rinsing off] and this was our only feeding system, the teats/bottles were used daily for 4+ months, pnly opening a new one when 1 started to leak!!

Otherwise MAM ULTIvent works in avent and is the next softest teat on the market.
