I have one painful breast. The pain is there after a feed and is unbearable. There is nipple pain during a feed but this is bearable.
I have been to the local breastfeeding clinic and stumped the lactation consultant, all she could come up with was poor positioning and we tried a better position. SHe also said that i was unlikely to be thrush as it would more be more than lkely on both sides.i am currently feeding on one side and have had to express once oor twice in order not to get engorged.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them? It all happened since my baby (3 1/2 months) fell on her mouth (with help from her older sister) and hurt the inside of her top lip. I think I must have posisitioned her wrong after that.
Any help greatly received.
