So Yesterday I gave my ds (10months) his water from a bottle as it was what I had to hand, he has never got on with them before and so has always been breast fed, he loves his milk, loves the comfort etc.
He bit me a couple of times a few days ago and I yelped as you would, his teeth are sharp!
Last night and for all of today he has refused the breast-very unhappy about being put in the milk hold and screams and crys should try to feed him.
Ive had a god awful day as he only sleeps when feeding during the day (sleeps perfectly at night) and he has been so fretful, clearly wants his milk but just not from me. I tried to give him a dream feed and he woke screaming, arching his back refusing the boob.
I ended up expressing and bottle feeding him which he guzzled down. after that feed I held him till he fell asleep and tried to get him to feed from me again, as I'd not been able to get a great deal off for him. he refused, I put the teet of the bottle in his mouth and he instinctivly sucked.
It is as if he has forgotton where the milk is and how to suck.
I'm devastated. What can I do?

Mine fretted horribly and refused to bf when they had ear infections or were coming down with one. They all probably hurt a lot when held on their sides when their ears were infected, hence the refusal to lie sideways and bf.
