Does anyone know where I can get them? Had recurrent mastitis last time which was a nightmare, so am becoming increasingly paranoid as due date approaches. Found some on Mothercare website but they are sold out on line. (Also trying to find one of those perineal gel packs - any ideas?)

I found it via mumsnet couple of years ago and bought the silverette pads after reading a couple of threads about them.

FWIW I had recurrent mastitis and abscess with DD1, with DD2 I didn't have a single problem. Hope all goes well for you.

Thank you - have ordered some from Boots online. Will have a look at the other site though if problems do come back - have heard of the silverette pads but forgotten about them.

That's reassuring, Crawk - to be fair DD had undiagnosed tongue tie which is probably what caused all the problems before, but I still have the fear!
