What kind of teats aare you using? My DD2 would only take the mothercare flat teats as they were the closest to breasts. Had a job getting her bottle fed although I didn't have a time limit on it. I just couldn't keep feeding her for 6 hours at night. Try new teats. Also try getting dad/gran/friend to feed instead of you. She can smell your milk and knows the bottle is not the real thing. Hope this helps.

thanks- ds would drink whole bottles of expressed brest milk so dont think its teats- he only takes 2oz if othe people feed him- unless i am not with them- do u think he will refuse it even if i am in same room?

Hmm you have got me there. What kind of formula are you using?

toria - while you are still b/fing you may find you need to be out of the room.

or you could try mixing expressed milk with formula and gradually cutting down the expressed?

Yeah you could have a point there I used to have to leave the bottle to come up to room temp before my DD wouldtake it. she never got it heated it was always room temp for her. Might be worth a try.

i am using sma gold,...and thanks- the temparature thing might be right as i think i may have heated up bottles slightly more that he has take.. i'll have to test the theory

although dh has just said that he heated up a bottle quite warm ( as warm as poss) and he didn't take it all... he is just taking ltille bits of bottle then having really long breast feeds to compensate... will i eventually have to leave him toget really hungry so he will drink bottle?..... if anyone has answers !!!!!!!!....
