Infant feeding

Formula milk & going camping

Sadly my DD (19 weeks) had some oral thrush and she started biting me really badly. Had really sore and bleeding nipples and just had to start giving her the dreaded formula milk (no offense intended, it's not something I had wanted to do). It got a little better and I still do some breastfeeds but it feels its never enough for her and she always seems to be hungry, hence having to continue with the formula milk.

Anyway, my question is, we'll be going camping for 2 weeks in August and it says on the pack that the powder should be kept cool.

Any ideas on how to do this whilst camping (obviously not taking the fridge with us).

Thanks.

I am going to take the cartons with me when we go in August. Is that an option for you? Although I see you are going for 2 weeks! Might be a bit pricey then, we're only going for the weekend!

I keep the dry powder in the kitchen not the fridge, so as long as its not a scorcher I reckon it should be alright in a cool bag or similar (shouldn't need a coolpack, just something to keep the sun out), then make up each bottle as you need it? I'm no expert thoyugh.....
