Colic at 6 months???

My wee DD2 has started to have screaming episodes in the evenings over the last month or so. Nothing settles her, she's better when distracted but obviously very tired and wants to go asleep. When she does she arches and jerks like she has a pain while screaming before calming down again for a few minutes.

She's a healthy, happy, thriving child in the meantime and no major illnesses.

This does seem like completely the wrong age for colic but any ideas what else it could be?

She's refusing solids at the moment - preferrs her thumb! Taking an occasional bottle ok from dh and bf going fine so far. she's been a pretty easy baby up to now and even starting to sleep from 7 to 7 now and then .

Rather ruined our holiday last week but no better at home. Not helping that I am back to work next week.
