Drinka Pinta Milka Day?

DD is 7.5 months old and is now down to one BF a day (first thing in the morning), but I'm worried that she's not getting a pint of milk a day.

She has 3 x 8oz formula feeds but she doesn't always finish them, I reckon she has about 20oz in all, and she has 3 scoops of formula in her porridge, equivalent to another 3oz, plus she has a yoghurt or fromage frais, probably equivalent to 1oz.

So by my reckoning that's
20+
3+
1 =
24 oz

I can't see the morning BF being equivalent to 6oz, so she isn't getting the pint she should, unless breast milk and formula aren't 'equal' IYSWIM? Can anyone tell me if that's the case?

20oz is the minimum recommended from 6 months to 1 year so your lo is getting plenty

I had this worry, I ff fed my baby(she 2 now), she would not finish her bottles of milk, and i was worried she was not getting enough. The doctor told me not to worry and that she will get what she wants. I stopped worrying, and now she is a healthy and alert 2 year old, who gulps down her milk with great gusto.

Apart from the 20oz in a pint thing, the yoghurt/fronage frais will be 2-4oz depending on size, and don't forget that anything with cheese in counts too. You're doing fine

Thanks all, can't believe I thought there were 30oz in a pint!! Silly moo. Can't even blame extreme sleep deprivation 'cos she's just started sleeping through
