I was on hols last week with family and on an excursion. Breastfed my slightly fractious 17 month old who is teething at the moment feeling vaguely aware that this may not be a popular move (my MIL not terribly supportive about extended BF). At the end of the trip a woman who I had chatted with a bit came and said how pleased she was that I was still bf as she is a neonatal nurse and feels bf is so important. It was a really lovely bit of validation from someone when I was really needed it. Rah for being supportive of mothers, not just those who bf obviously...
